Leadership and Followership
Session Description:
We understand the importance of great leadership, but what about its counterpart, great followership? Though frequently overlooked, followership actions such as listening, supporting, and exploring are just as influential in our success as more recognized leading activities such as coordinating, delegating, and directing. Training for both roles can make teams stronger, provide a sense of shared purpose, and ensure smooth and successful organizational change. This session includes a brief overview of how leadership and followership skills function together in practice and a discussion of several examples of followership skills in action. Have pen and paper handy for a few short written exercises!

You will leave with actionable tools you can apply to training, coaching, and mentoring.
